Basset Bleu De Gascogne
The Basset Bleu de Gascogne (The Blue Gascony Basset) was originally bred to hunt rabbits, either by itself or in a pack.  This energetic dog is a long-backed, short legged breed of dog of the hound type. The predominant color is a mottled white, so as to give a bluish appearance, with brown spots and tan markings above the eyes, looking much like brown eyebrows, and on the ears. Considered as a modern purebred from an older Basset in the late 1800s. These dogs are sociable and affectionate with an even temper.
