Whimbrel |
The Whimbrel is a big sandpiper with longish legs and has the colors of brown, white, and black throughout its body with blue or gray feet. Its beak curves downward. It is a curlew, and it is one of the most common. Unlike other birds, this curlew will attack humans, and they migrate almost 2,500 miles to South America every year.
