Wilson's phalarope is a size medium sandpiper composed of gray-brown, red-brown, white, gray, and black. This bird resides in North America in the summer months and heads down to South America for an extended migration vacation. It prefers habitats like watery areas, marshes, lakes, reservoirs, and salty lakes.
