Nox the Chinchilla

Nox is the sweetest girl ive ever met. She was being advertised in the paper. The lady who owned her was getting rid of her because she didnt want to deal with taking care of her anymore. The lady who was caring for the Chinchilla (origonaly named Farley because they thought she was a boy) loved the chinchilla. She seemed like a big animal lover and all. But her know-how about Chinchillas was limited. Or so my sister says. She had the chinchilla in a main room, where people were always around and probably noisy. A dog right up looking into the cage whenever the chinchilla moved... and the wheel... was in the most ocward place ive seen. As well as the shelves were oddly placed, so when she jumped down, she often flipped and fell. So when I got her home, I moveed the shelves in more reachable, and proper places, as well as the wheel. Shes in my room now, where next to none traffic is. Her neibour is Munchkin the hamster, who is up at the same time as her. Though, she concerns me. She seems to always be awake and active. Im afraid she may have just adjusted to the way he old life was. BUT she is more active at night as chinchilla should be. Shes is maybe two years old. The lady said shes had her for a year. And id imagine she would have been about a year when they got her. Thouh shes very friendly, and almost isntantly welcomes and interaction you give her. Shes very playfull, and explores my room often when shes running around. She loves to rocoshay off the walls and do cannon walls into my laundry basket. And, im no sure if this is normal, but shes missing her left middle finger. The longets toe. I was told by an exterienced chinchilla owner, and friend, that it is nothing to worry about and probably happened at a young age.... but it still worries me a bit. ----- Fact; Nox is greek, and it means Goddess of the Night. I though it sounded fitting.
